Tourney Time: Men's Soccer Hosts Spring Arbor for Crossroads League Quarterfinals

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's soccer team will host the Crossroads League Men's Soccer Tournament Quarterfinal Round for the first time since the 2013 season on Tuesday, November 4. 

The SF Cougars, who earned the No. 4 seed in the tournament, will host No. 5 Spring Arbor University at Bishop John M. D'Arcy Stadium starting at 7:00 p.m

GAME NOTES

  • Saint Francis finished the regular season with an overall record of 7-9-2 and a league record of 5-3-1. 
  • SAU earned the No. 5 seed in the bracket after finishing the season with an overall record of 10-7-1 and a league record of 5-3-1. 
  • Spring Arbor has scored 32 goals this season, with a 12.1 shots per game average. 
  • As a team, the SF Cougars have scored 32 goals this season and are averaging 12.3 shots per game. 
  • Henning Bundschuh and Christian Walter lead Saint Francis with five goals scored. 
  • Walter also leads SF with 16 shots on goal, while Ryusei Matsushita has scored four goals and recorded four assists for 12 points.
  • Kevin Wachiaya Onelius has played over 1,500 minutes in goal for Saint Francis this season, collecting 67 saves while allowing 35 goals against for a .657 save percentage.
