Robakowski Receives NFCA First Team All-America Recognition

Thirty-six student-athletes from 18 programs were honored as the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced its 2026 NAIA All-America teams on Thursday afternoon. The NFCA All-America teams are voted on by the Association's All-America Committees. In the NAIA, the committee is comprised of one member head coach from each of the NAIA's six regions. All student-athletes who were nominated by a member head coach and selected to the first or second team All-Region squads were eligible for All-America consideration.

Saint Francis Softball Concludes Season at NAIA Opening Round

The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) softball team saw its historic 2026 season come to an end Tuesday at the NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Rounds. The Cougars battled through the elimination bracket, defeating Ottawa University Arizona before falling to Dordt University later in the day. No. 3 seed Saint Francis opened the day with a 7-1 victory over No. 5 seed OUAZ before dropping a 7-5 decision to No. 4 seed Dordt.

The No. 3-seeded University of Saint Francis (Ind.) softball team opened play at the 2026 NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round against No. 2 seed Texas A&M University-Texarkana on Monday, May 11. The Cougars fell to the Eagles by a final score of 5-4.
Softball Heads to Oregon for NAIA Opening Round

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 48-team field for the 45th annual NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round on Wednesday evening. The field for 2026 includes 29 automatic qualifiers, who either punched their ticket by winning their conference regular season or conference tournament, or by being a conference tournament runner-up in their respective conference. Four teams punched their ticket to the opening round, earning a host-at-large berth. At the same time, the remaining 15 spots in the field were filled by the softball national selection committee, comprised of head coaches and administrators from around the country. The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) Cougars earned the No. 3 seed and will face the No. 2 seed Texas A&M University-Texarkana.

The Crossroads League announced its 2026 Softball All-League honors on Monday, following Indiana Wesleyan University's regular season title and the tournament championship from the University of Saint Francis (Ind.). The All-Crossroads League honors were voted on by the league's head softball coaches.
