Robakowski and Bolyn Earn Crossroads League Top Honors; Five Cougars Named All-League

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its 2026 Softball All-League honors on Monday, following Indiana Wesleyan University's regular season title and the tournament championship from the University of Saint Francis (Ind.). The All-Crossroads League honors were voted on by the league's head softball coaches.

2026 SOFTBALL ALL-LEAGUE AWARDS

Saint Francis highlighted the Crossroads League's top honors, as Abby Robakowski was named Player of the Year and head coach Ryan Bolyn earned Coach of the Year recognition.

Bolyn was named Coach of the Year after leading the Cougars to their first Crossroads League Tournament title and first-ever berth in the NAIA National Tournament. Saint Francis currently holds a 36-11 overall record and finished the regular season 29-7 in league play.

Robakowski earned Player of the Year honors after leading the league in batting average (.494), slugging percentage (1.103), RBIs (65), and home runs (25). Her 25 home runs and 1.103 slugging percentage both lead the NAIA, while her batting average ranks seventh nationally. The junior infielder is currently on an eight-game hitting streak and holds a .928 fielding percentage at third base and is the program's all-time home run leader.

Olivia Fuentes, Macie Dowd and Sam Baker were each named to the All-Crossroads League Second Team, with Baker also earning Gold Glove honors at second base.

Fuentes ranks fourth in the league with a 2.60 ERA and fifth in wins with 15. The freshman has thrown 102.1 innings with 45 strikeouts, allowing 98 hits and 23 walks, while posting a 1.10 WHIP.

Dowd is hitting .321 with a .606 slugging percentage. In 137 at-bats, the senior has recorded 44 hits, including 15 doubles and eight home runs, along with 39 RBIs and 15 walks.

Baker leads the league with a program-record 50 stolen bases, ranking sixth nationally. The junior also holds a .973 fielding percentage with 90 putouts, 88 assists, and seven double plays. She is batting .359 with a .440 on-base percentage and a .468 slugging percentage.

Kortney Surber rounded out Saint Francis' honorees with All-Crossroads League Honorable Mention recognition. The sophomore is batting .343 with a .505 slugging percentage and six stolen bases while posting a .884 fielding percentage across the infield and outfield.
