Saint Francis Tops Indiana Northwest 91–78 to Close Non-League Play

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's basketball team closed out non-league play with a 91–78 home victory over Indiana University Northwest on Tuesday, December 30.

Midway through the first half, Saint Francis built a 24–12 lead following a steal and layup by Jevon Lewis. The RedHawks answered with a run to trim the deficit to nine with under four minutes remaining, but the Cougars maintained control and carried a 39–31 advantage into halftime.

Saint Francis held its lead throughout the second half, combining steady offense with defensive pressure to secure the 91–78 win. The Cougars forced five turnovers after the break and improved to 5–8 overall on the season with the win.

Saint Francis shot 39.7% (31–78) from the field and 90.9% (20–22) from the free-throw line. Karson Rogers posted his ninth double-double of the season, finishing with 19 points and 18 rebounds while adding six assists and four steals. Lewis contributed 17 points, eight assists, and five rebounds. Joe Reidy also recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Keshawn McNeill added 12 points, while Eugene Young Jr. contributed 11 points.

Up next, Saint Francis (5–8, 0–4 CL) travels to Goshen College for a Crossroads League matchup on Saturday, January 3, before returning home to host Taylor University on January 7.
