Women's Cross Country Finishes Crossroads League Championships in Seventh

UPLAND, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's and women's cross country teams competed in the 2024 Cross Country Championships on Friday, November 9. 

This year's championships were held on the campus of Taylor University at the TUXC Farm. The Cougars finished in seventh place out of the nine conference teams. 

Victoria Clibon was the first Cougar to cross the finish line in a time of 22:47.40 for 15th place. Gloria Wafula finished the 6k race with a time of 23:01.80 for 23rd place overall. Kiara Bahena finished with a time of 24:02.30, while Hannah Swary crossed the finish line at 24:22.80. 

The NAIA will officially announce the 2024 cross country national qualifiers on November 11 at 7:00 p.m. This year's championship will held on November 22 at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Missouri.
