Ebetino Garners 4th All-American Honor & Clibon earns National Meet Experience as a Freshman
VANCOUVER, Wash. -- The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) Cross Country team was well-represented at the NAIA National Cross Country Meet yesterday afternoon. Graduate student, Alex Ebetino, garnered her 4th All-American honors with a 25th place finish while Freshman, Victoria Clibon, received NAIA National Meet experience and a 67th place finish.
Ebetino raced a 22:21.4 time, less than a minute apart form the 1st place finisher in the 6k. This is Ebetino's fourth time receiving All-American Honors & her last time racing in a USF uniform. Ebetino stated, "I know I gave it my best effort today and I'm glad to go out with one more All-American Honor."
Freshman, Victoria Clibon, finished with a 23:17 time in the 6k in her 1st appearance at the National Meet, placing her 67th overall. Clibon stated, "I'm happy to have had that kind of expereince with Alex."
Head Coach, Brendon Moody exclaimed, "I am unbelievably proud of these two women and the way that they raced today and all season. They both got out of the gate strong and ran very aggressively, allowing them the opportunity to race for an All-American Honor & a timely finish." USF has officially closed their Fall season, and are eager to return for the Fall of 2024.
