Cougars Turn in Strong Showing at GVSU Al Owens Classic
ALLENDALE, Mich. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) track and field teams continued the outdoor season at the GVSU Al Owens Classic hosted by Grand Valley State University on April 10-11.
Saint Francis recorded multiple program top-10 performances and captured an event title at the meet.
Hannah Boersema led the way with a first-place finish in the javelin, posting a mark of 40.73m (133' 7").
Stefany Dominguez broke the school record in the 100m with a time of 12.69, while Arina Taylor followed with the third-fastest time in program history at 12.77.
Dominguez and Taylor also recorded top-10 marks in the 200m, finishing in 25.84 and 25.97, respectively.
Heidi Meyer added a top-10 performance in the 100m hurdles with a time of 17.08.
Rileigh Baumer posted a top-10 mark in the 800m, crossing the line in 2:23.67.
Andrea Pfau (4:47:46) and Lauren Moore (4:49.20) also set new program top-10 times in the 1,500m.

Up next, the Cougars will travel to Georgia for the Georgia Tech Invitational on April 17-18.
