USF Closes Out Regular Season at Don Kleinow Invitational

ADRIAN, Mich. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's outdoor track and field team closed out the regular season at the Don Kleinow Invitational Don Kleinow Invitational hosted by Siena Heights University on April 24-25.

Hannah Boersema took second place in the shot put with a new USF top-10 mark of 11.79m. In the high jump, she finished with a mark of 1.41m for seventh place overall. Boersema also competed in the long jump, coming away with an eighth-place finish and a mark of 4.60m. 

Kiara Bahena brought home a second-place finish in the 800m after crossing the finish line in a time of 2:19.04. 

Linda Koech also came away with a second-place finish in the 1,500m at 4:59.61, setting a new USF top-10 time. Koech also took seventh place in the 800m with a time of 2:28.53. 

Mariah Maley took fourth in the 400m hurdles, finishing in a time of 1:05.63. 

Gwen Jakway brought home eighth place in the hammer throw with a mark of 36.80m.

Up next, the Cougars will compete at the 2025 Crossroads League Championships on May 1-2. This year's championships are being hosted on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University at the IWU Track and Field Complex.
