USF Women Compete at Day One of NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships
MARION, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's outdoor track and field team saw Victoria Clibon, Alex Ebetino, and Hannah Boersema along with its 4x800m relay team compete on Wednesday night for day one of the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University.

The Lady Cougars' 4x800m relay team consisting of Mariah Maley, Hannah Hawkins, Lillee Stewart, and Marissa Goodwin concluded their season after finishing the Semi-Final race in a time of 10:23.50.
Clibon ran in the 3,000m steeplechase and clocked a time of 12:17.31.
Boersema competed in women's javelin, taking 17th with a mark of 39.98m.
Rounding out the Lady Cougars' efforts in day one of the NAIA National Championships was Ebetino who finished 15th out of 24 athletes in the 10,000m run, crossing the finish line in a time of 37:50.23.
"Track and field is full of highs and lows, and today was a tough day," Coach Moody said. "We've been battling some health issues coming into the meet and, unfortunately at this level, you have to be 100% to have a chance. Kiara has a ability to right the ship Thursday for us in the 800!"
USF will continue NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships action on Thursday, May 23 with Kiara Bahena running in the 800m Semi-Finals at 2:30 PM and Ebetino running in the 5,000m Semi-Finals at 6:45 PM.
