Cougars Deliver Strong Performances at Jud Logan Light Giver Open

ASHLAND, Ohio - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) Cougars competed at the Jud Logan Light Giver Collegiate Open, hosted by Ashland University on Friday and Saturday, February 6-7. Two top-ten finishes and multiple personal bests highlighted the weekend for the Cougars.

Hannah Boersema broke the school record in the pentathlon with a score of 2,848 points and also set a new record in the high jump with a mark of 1.62m. 

Stefany Dominguez broke the Saint Francis record in the 60m dash with a time of 8:07. Dominguez also finished the 200m with a new SF top-10 time of 26.69.

Arina Taylor also competed in the 60m, finishing with the second-best time in school history at 8:08. 

Kiara Bahena ran a new top-10 time in the mile at 5:13.93. 

Lauren Moore also ran in the mile, crossing the finish line in a time of 5:19.24 for eighth-best all-time at Saint Francis.

Rileigh Baumer ran the seventh-best time in school history in the 400m with a time of 1:03.11.

Andrea Pfau set a new personal best in the 3,000m run at 10:15.14.

Up next, Saint Francis will compete at the GVSU Big Meet and Tiffin Robinson Family Open on February 13-14.
