Cougars Tie for Second at Joe Banks Invitational
ADA, Ohio - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's indoor track and field team tied for second place with 80 points at the Joe Banks Invitational, hosted by Ohio Northern University on Friday, January 30.
A new school record, three event wins and over a dozen top-five finishes highlighted the meet for the Cougars.
Stefany Dominguez set a new Saint Francis school record in the 60m dash, finishing in 8.10 to place fifth overall.
Lauren Moore captured first place in the 1,000m with a time of 3:08.42, besting her competition by over six seconds.
Andrea Pfau claimed the mile title, crossing the finish line in 5:16.61.
Saint Francis also earned a victory in the 4x400-meter relay, as the team of Kiara Bahena, Andrea Pfau, Victoria Clibon and Lauren Moore won the race in 4:19.72.

Up next, the SF indoor track and field teams will travel back to Ohio to compete in the Jud Logan Light Giver Open hosted by Ashland University on February 6-7.
