Brookings, SD - -Throughout a championship weekend typically highlighted with highs and lows, the University of Saint Francis Mens and Women's track and field team flattened the curve and road the waves of highs!

Championship Saturday was highlighted by Senior Joe Painter's 5th place performance in the Pole Vault with a clearance of 4.85 meters.

Senior Alex Ebetino raced her way on to the podium finishing in 7th place in the women's 3000 meter.

The last event on the track for the Cougars was the women's Distance Medley Relay which found their way to the podium via an 8th place finish. The quartet of Ebetino, Mariah Marley, Kiara Bahena, and Victoria Clibon brought the USF All-American total to six for the weekend!

"This is the most All-American honors we've gathered as a program at one national championship" stated Head Track & Field Coach, Kris Hart. "Our program continues to improve each year and as we continue to build this program, the team will continue to bring more All-American honors back to Fort Wayne!"
