Tourney Time: Women's Soccer Travels to Marian for Crossroads League Quarterfinals

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's soccer team will travel to Marian University for the Crossroads League Women's Soccer Tournament Quarterfinals on Wednesday, November 5. 

Saint Francis enters the tournament as the No. 8 seed and will battle the No. 1 Marian Knights starting at 7:00 p.m.

GAME NOTES

  • Saint Francis finished the regular season with an overall record of 8-8-1 and a league record of 2-7. 
  • Marian won its fifth Crossroads League Championship in program history after finishing the regular season at 16-0-1, while going 8-0-1 in league play.
  • The Knights have scored 55 goals this season. Marian is averaging 19.1 shots per game and has recorded 33 saves. 
  • As a team, the Cougars have scored 33 goals this season and are averaging 11.7 shots per game. 
  • Evelyn Harkenrider leads SF with seven goals, 16 points and 20 shots landing on goal. 
  • Four Cougars have collected three assists on the season, including Haylee Heflin,Taylor Keenan, Reagan Metel and Hailey Stanforth
  • Rachel Bova has played over 1,300 minutes in goal for Saint Francis, recording 84 saves with a .800 save percentage.
