Saint Francis Wraps Up Fall Slate at Crossroads League Preview

COLUMBUS, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis women's golf team competed at the Crossroads League Preview, hosted at Harrison Lakes Country Club in Columbus, Indiana, on October 13-14. Facing tough conditions and a strong field, the Cougars battled through three rounds to finish eighth overall with a team total of +308. 

Sophia Kay led the way for Saint Francis, carding rounds that placed her in 37th individually at +55. London Dodson followed close behind in 44th at +69, while Mary Jones and Shay Boroff both tied for 48th at +97. Tori Straley rounded out the Cougar lineup at +99. 

The event featured several of the league's top programs, with Indiana Wesleyan University claiming the team title at +61, followed by Marian University (+86) and Taylor University (+94). 

The Saint Francis women's golf team will take a break over the winter and return to action in the spring.

Founded in 1890 in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, the University of Saint Francis offers more than 60 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs through the College of Health Sciences and the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business. In addition to its traditional programs, Saint Francis designs focused curricula for working adults in Fort Wayne, Crown Point, Lafayette and online. More than 1,900 students from a broad geographic region attend Saint Francis.
