Cougars Tackle Stonehenge Invitational

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's and women's golf teams competed at the Stonehenge Invitational hosted at Stonehenge Golf Club on September 29-30.

The Cougar women posted rounds of 371 in Round 1 and 379 in Round 2 for a total of +151, placing them 8th overall in the field.

Top teams/leaderboard highlights:

  • Taylor University claimed the women's team title at +35 (603).
  • Grace College followed closely in second at +61 (629). 
  • Huntington University rounded out the top three with a +76 (644).
  • Cedarville University came in fifth place with a score of +98 (666). 

Individually, Sophia Kayled Saint Francis with a +31 (173), finishing as the top Cougar scorer. London Dodson finished right under at 35th with a score of +33 (175). Additional Cougar competitors contributed to the team's steady performance on a challenging layout.

Up next, the women's golf team will compete in its last invite at the Harrison Lake Invite in Columbus, Ind, on Sunday, October 12th
