Women's Golf Opens Spring at the Taylor University Invitational at Purgatory GC
The women opened their spring season at the Taylor University Invitational at Purgatory GC on Friday March 22nd and Saturday March 23rd. The weather was a bit under par for the Indy area this time of year. Temperatures in the 30's and winds between 15-25mph made playing conditions incredibly difficult. The ladies finished 6th out of 8 with rounds of 379-367. Bridget Marshall led the Lady Cougars with rounds of 92-86. Melissa Francis posted rounds of 93-87 and Abby Pequignot shot 95-97.
The ladies next event will be in the All Fools Day Tournament at Rock Hollow GC on April 1.
