LAKELAND, Fla. - The No. 6 University of Saint Francis Cougars wrapped up their Florida trip with a 74–66 victory over No. 23 Southeastern University on Saturday, December 13.

The opening quarter was a close battle, with the Fire holding a narrow 18–15 advantage heading into the second. Southeastern maintained control in the second quarter, extending its lead to 31–20 by halftime.

Saint Francis responded with a dominant third quarter, outscoring the Fire 31–18 to reclaim the lead and take a 51–49 advantage into the final period. Southeastern attempted to rally in the fourth, but the Cougars held firm down the stretch to secure the 74–66 win. With the victory, Saint Francis improved to 12–1 on the season, while Southeastern fell to 8–2.

The Cougars shot 49.2% (29–59) from the field and collected 37 rebounds in the win. Renna Schwieterman led Saint Francis with 28 points on 12-of-19 shooting while adding six assists, nine rebounds, and three steals. Cali Gregory followed with 23 points, seven rebounds, and three steals. Taylor Fordyce contributed 11 points, six rebounds, three assists, and a block, while Isabella Gizzi finished with seven points.

Saint Francis women's basketball (12–1, 3–1 CL) returns to action for its final non-league contest of the season against Rochester Christian University on Saturday, December 27, inside the Hutzell Athletic Center.
