Tourney Time: Saint Francis Hosts Marian for Crossroads League Semifinals
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's basketball team will host Marian University for the Crossroads League Women's Basketball Tournament Semifinal Round on Saturday, March 1.
The Cougars enter the conference tournament as the No. 2 seed, while the Knights are the No. 3 seed in the bracket.

GAME NOTES
- The Cougars finished the regular season with an overall record of 25-3 and a Crossroads League record of 15-3. Saint Francis is currently ranked No. 9 in the NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
- The Knights concluded the regular season with an overall record of 22-6 and a league record of 15-3. Marian is currently No. 12 in the NAIA Top 25 Poll.
- In their first matchup of the season on January 11, the Cougars defeated the Knights by a final score of 63-47. Julia Mantyla led Saint Francis with 17 points, while Cassidy Crawford had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Kenna Kirby led Marian with 14 points. Abbey McNally had a game-high 15 rebounds for MU.
- The two teams faced each other again on February 15 at the Hutzell Athletic Center, where Saint Francis fought to a 73-72 win in overtime. Five Cougars scored in double digits, led by Cali Gregory with 15 points. Abbey McNally led Marian with 27 points and 13 rebounds.
- As a team, USF is averaging 74.3 points per game in Crossroads League play, while Bethel is averaging 59.1 points per game in league play.
- Mantyla currently leads the league with an impressive field goal percentage of 60.3%. Gregory boasts the second-best three-point shooting percentage at 44.%, followed closely by Mantyla with 44.6% and Isabella Gizzi at 44.1%. Gregory has recorded 113 assists this season, which places her fourth in the Crossroads League.
- Marian's Abbey McNally is leading the league with 12.5 rebounds per game and is second with a 59.0 field goal percentage. She is also third in the CL in points per game with 19.3 and third in blocks with 42. Madisyn Bailey is second in the league with 72 steals this season and third in assists with 144.
