Five Cougs Earn Women's Basketball All-League Honors

The University of Saint Francis women's basketball team had several players honored by the Crossroads League Conference following the 2023-2024 season.  

Chloe McKnight made Second-Team All-Crossroads League. She averaged 13.1 points per game to go along with 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. She shot 37.4 % from the field and 34.2% from three. She hit big shots and played tough all year long. 

Ally Madden was also selected to Second-Team All-Crossroads League. She averages 11.3 points per game and 4.8 rebounds to go along with it. She shot 57.7% from the field and made her presence felt every time she was on the court.

Isabella Gizzi was the third Coug to make Second-Team All-Crossroads League, in addition to Crossroads League All-Defensive Team, and Crossroads League All-Freshmen Team. She put up 7.6 points per game while shooting 45.1% from three and 44.5% overall. She also had 4.5 rebounds per game and 1.6 assists per game. She made it tough for opponents on both sides of the ball and did very well in her first year of play.

Taylor Fordyce also made the Crossroads League All-Freshmen Team along with Honorable Mention All-Crossroads League. She averaged double digits in points with 10.2 per game going 49.7% from the field. She also was able to bring down an average of 6.3 rebounds a game and spread the love with 2.8 assists per game. Another young Coug with a bright future who had a great regular season. 

Emily Parrett earned Honorable Mention All-Crossroads League. She shot 44.5% from the field to help her average 8.4 points per game. She helped her teammates out with 3.2 assists a game and cleaned up the glass with 3.8 rebounds per game. In her third year of work, she played an important role in the success of this team. 

We would like to congratulate all the Lady Cougs who were honored in this year's voting and wish them good luck as they await the selection of the 2024 NAIA Women's Basketball Championship.
