Season Best Runs in the 8k for USF Men's XC

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The University of Saint Francis men's cross country team traveled to Terre Haute, Indiana last night to compete in the Nike Cross Country Town Twilight. Overall, the men finished 13th, but had some exceptional times in their races.

Junior, Connor Jackson took on the leadership role and led the way for his 3rd straight Invitational this Fall and Sophomore Cobin Moriarity ran as the Cougars #2-man.

All runners for USF (5) ran their best times of the Fall thus far. Connor Jackson ran a 27:47 with a 5:35/mile pace. Cobin Moriarity ran a 28:00 right on Jackson's heels for a 5:38/mile average pace. Dylan Anspach ran a 29:41 with an average pace of 5:58/mile. Alexander Reagan, our Cougar Spotlight Athlete of this week, ran a 30:11 with a 6:04/mile pace. And last, but most certainly not least, Cole Sikorski rounded out the Cougars with a 30:20 finish for a 6:06/mile average pace.

"I'm very pleased with the effort given by the men. They continue to make improvements each week. We have plenty of work to do prior to Conference, but but the men have proven that they are absolutely up to the challenge," stated Head Coach Brendon Moody.
