FORT WAYNE, Ind. - On Saturday afternoon the University of Saint Francis Cougars traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan to compete in the 2022 Great Lakes Challenge at Aquinas College and led by sophomores Spencer and Remington Carpenter, finished 15th out of 30 teams.
Out of 280 runners, sophomore All-American Spencer Carpenter placed first. He led the whole way through and finished with a time of 25:49.40 in the Men's 8K, finishing 15 seconds ahead of the runner-up from Indiana Tech.

"Spencer and Remington set the tone for the men today by finishing first and third respectively," Head Coach Brendon Moody said of his two All-American runners.
