Saint Francis Turns in Strong Showing at Miami University
OXFORD, Ohio - The University of Saint Francis outdoor track and field teams competed at the Blizzard Buster hosted by Miami University on Friday, March 21.
Hugo Humbert set a new school record in the 3,000m with a time of 8:57.71 for eighth place.
Evan Pitts ran to a new USF top-10 time in the 3,000m at 9:34.13.
Sam Htoo's mark in the javelin of 41.12m (134' 11") also put him on the all-time top-10 list.
Quinn Clayton finished the 400m in fifth place with a time of 53.04.
Kelvin Sanja Etiang took fourth place in the 5,000m with a time of 16:44.40, followed by Dylan Anspach in fifth with a time of 17:01.36.
Up next, the USF outdoor track and field teams will travel to Wilmington College to compete in the Jennastrong Track & Field Invitational on April 5.
