Cougs making moves on all time best including Boersema with “A” Standard

Upland, IN -- Hannah Boersema highlighted the day for the Cougars with her NAIA National Qualifying Mark in the Women's Javelin.  Her toss of 40.80 hits the "A" Standard which makes her the third Cougar to hit marks this Spring,  Currently, Freshman Alvin Keter and Senior Alex Ebetino will be joining her in May to represent USF at the National Championship! 

Notable performances on day for the Cougars included a runner-up finish in the 400 meters for freshman Kiara Bahena, 60.07 moving her to number 2 All Time in USF history. Ebetino notched an outdoor season best at 800 meters moving to number 4 All Time. Also in the 800, freshman Victoria Clibon moved to number 8 All Time. Freshman Marissa Goodwin ran herself to number 8 All Time in the Women's 5000 meters. 

On the men's side of the track, Cole Sikorski moved to number 6 All time in the men's 800 meters and Dylan Anspach ran the 10th fastest time at 5000 meters in USF History. 

The USF Track and Field team will be back in action next weekend on Friday and Saturday at the Ball State University "We Fly" Invitational in Muncie, Indiana as well as the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California.
