MARION, Ind. -- The Cougars traveled to Indiana Wesleyan University to compete in the Midwest Classic for their last regular season indoor meet.

In the field events, Hannah Boersema hit a PR in the women's weight throw with a mark of 14.32 meters, and QuinShawn Gordon hit a PR of 10.09 meters in the men's shot put. For the men's pole vault, Joe Painter tied for 3rd place with a mark of 4.65 meters. 

The women's 4x800 (run by Kiara Bahena, Victoria Clibon, Mariah Maley, and Alex Ebetino) finished first at 9:34.05, marking a new school record and hitting A standard, AGAIN. Alex Ebetino also finished 3rd in the women's 800 meters with a 2:24.18 time. 

Next, the Cougars will revisit Grand Valley State University on February 10th for their Last Chance Meet to qualify A & B standard times and throws to qualify for the Crossroads League Championships & the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships!
