NAIA Indoor Nationals Day 1 & 2 Highlights
BROOKINGS, Sd. -- The Men's & Women's Track & Field teams traveled 11 athletes for the NAIA Indoor Nationals meet spanning from March 2nd to the 4th.
Day 1: Day one of the NAIA Indoor Championship was highlighted by the Women's 4x800 team of Alex Ebetino, Kristina Baum, Yami Diaz, and Kelsey peck running the second fastest time in school history to place 13th in the nation with a time of 9:36.10. Day 2: Day Two was highlighted by Spencer Carpenter advancing through to the finals of the 1k running a new school record time of 2:27.13. Spencer had the 4th fastest time in the preliminary round. Alex Ebetino also advanced through to the 3k final running a time of 10:11.09 for the 4th fastest time in the preliminary rounds. On Day 3 the Men's side will have Joe Painter competing in the Pole Vault at 1:15pm CT, Spencer Carpenter in the 1,000m final at 2:35pm CT, and Alex Ebetino in the 3,000m final at 2:45pm CT.
