Saint Francis Drops League Match at No. 20 Grace
WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's tennis team faced No. 20 Grace College in a Crossroads League match on Thursday, April 9. The Lancers won the matchup by a final score of 7-0.
Grace secured the doubles point with wins at No. 1 doubles (6-0) and No. 3 doubles (6-2).
In singles play, Juan Andres Wilches dropped his opening set 6-0 before taking two games in the second, falling 6-2. Hugo Gonzalez Cabanas battled at No. 3 singles, claiming five games in a 6-1, 6-4 loss. Gerard Cuixart won three games in his opening set at No. 4 singles, while George Ebert added three games at No. 6 singles.
Up next, Saint Francis men's tennis (6-6, 1-6 CL) will host Taylor University on Saturday, April 11 at the Swinney Tennis Center.
