Cougars Battle Against Wildcats

MARION, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's tennis team traveled to Indiana Wesleyan University for a Crossroads League match on Tuesday, April 7. The Wildcats defeated the Cougars 7-0.

Jorge Cebria and Juan Andres Wilches battled at No. 1 doubles, falling 7-5. Hugo Gonzalez Cabanas and Gerard Cuixart fought hard at No. 2 doubles, dropping a 7-6 (5) decision to Indiana Wesleyan. Enzo Bozonnet and Alvaro Adrio picked up four games at No. 3 doubles, falling 6-4.

In singles play, Adrio won the first set at No. 5 before falling 6-4, 6-4 in the next two sets. At No. 6 singles, Grant Mishler won the first set 6-0 but dropped the next two, 6-1, 6-3.

Up next, Saint Francis men's tennis (6-5, 1-5 CL) will travel to face No. 20 Grace College on Thursday, April 9. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m. in Winona Lake.
