Cougars Roll to 7-0 Win Over MVNU
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's tennis team defeated Mount Vernon Nazarene University 7-0 in Crossroads League action on Saturday, March 28.
In doubles play, the No. 1 pairing of Devon McCaffrey and Gerard Cuixart earned a 6-0 win. The No. 2 duo of Enzo Bozonnet and Alvaro Adrio followed with a 6-4 victory, while Hayden Lepley and George Ebert secured a 6-1 win at No. 3 to complete the sweep.
In singles play, Cuixart won at No. 1 with a 6-2, 6-0 decision. Adrio picked up a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 2, while McCaffrey earned a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3. Ebert claimed a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 4, Bozonnet won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 5, and Lepley completed the sweep with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 6.
Up next, the Cougars (6-3, 1-4 CL) host Goshen College for a Crossroads League matchup on Wednesday, April 1, at the Swinney Tennis Center.
