Cougars Men's Tennis Preview Crossroads League Tournament

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis Men's tennis team is preparing for the Crossroads League tournament beginning on Tuesday, September 20 when they take on the Grace College Lancers beginning at 3:00 pm. 

Throughout the fall season, the Cougars managed to go 2-5 to qualify as the number eight seed in the conference tournament. 

After a few losses to Marian, Grace, and Spring Arbor to start the season, the Cougars rebounded with a 7-0 victory over the Mount Vernon Nazarene Cougars with singles wins from junior Alfredo Huamami, sophomore Will Daigle, as well as freshmen Quintin Spears, Devon McCaffrey, Eric Stavnheim, and Martin Maurant

The next win for the Cougars came this past Saturday against Alma College when they pulled out a 5-2 win over at Swinney Tennis Courts. 

The opening round of the Crossroads League tournament is Tuesday, September 20, with the second round being on Thursday the 22nd, and the third and final round being Saturday the 24th.
