FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis athletic department is excited to announce that sophomore defender Brayden Gillman has earned an honorbale mention on the All-Crossroads League Team as the Crossroads League announces the men's soccer award winners for 2022.

After a strong start to the regular season, Gillman suffered a severe injury that sidelined him for several weeks in mid September. He rebounded to make a speedy recovery and ignited the Cougars throughout the season.

"Brayden is a well-respected player on and off the field, so we are pleased he received this honor," Head Coach Jake Essig said of his sophomore defender. "We feel confident his best days are still ahead of him and we're excited to see it play out."

22 student-athletes were named as Crossroads League First-Team selections, with 16 others taking home Crossroads League Honorable Mention honors.

The All-Crossroads League awards are voted on by the CL's head men's soccer coaches.
