Men's Golf Competes at Stonehenge Invitational

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's and women's golf teams competed at the Stonehenge Invitational hosted at Stonehenge Golf Club on September 29-30. 

The Saint Francis men's squad posted rounds of 329 in Round 1 and 321 in Round 2 for a two-round total of +82, finishing 9th overall. 

Top teams/leaderboard highlights: 

  • Taylor University captured the men's team championship with a +15 (583). 
  • Grace College placed third with a score of +28 (596).  
  • Spring Arbor University and Thomas More University tied for fourth with +47 (615). 
  • Mount Vernon Nazarene University finished sixth with +53 (621). 

Individually, the Cougars had steady play across the roster, highlighted by solid rounds that helped close the gap in Round 2. Bailey Marquart led SF, tying for 17th place with +11 (153). The next Cougar golfer was Keenan Beaty with +15 (157).

Up next, the Saint Francis Men's golf team will return to action in October as they compete in the Music City Collegiate Invite on October 5-7.
