Cougars Finish in Fourth at Pilot Invitational
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis men's golf team finished in fourth place at the Pilot Invitational hosted by Bethel University on Saturday, April 19.
Bailey Marquart led the Cougars' efforts at the Blackthorn Golf Club with a second-place finish after falling to Jonah Kumfer in a playoff. Marquart finished the invitational with round scores of 72 and 72 for a 144 total.
Seth Roop tied for ninth place with round scores of 75 and 75 for a total score of 150.
Donny Dimberio recorded round scores of 76 and 81, while Dylan Carvey and Eli Gernhardt rounded out the Cougars' performance with scores of 169 and 180, respectively.
Up next, the USF men's and women's golf teams will compete at the Sagamore Shootout at the Sagamore Golf Club in Noblesville, Ind. on April 21.
