FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Saint Francis men's basketball team earned a 96–86 non-league victory over Indiana University Columbus on Tuesday, December 16, inside the Hutzell Athletic Center. The win improved the Cougars to 4–8 on the season.

Saint Francis opened the game with a 5–0 run before IU Columbus responded, evening the score and later building a five-point advantage with 11:29 remaining in the first half. The Cougars regained momentum late in the period, closing the half on a 10–2 run to take a 50–40 lead into the break.

SF continued to pull away early in the second half, extending its lead to 19 at the 9:27 mark. Saint Francis controlled the glass, outrebounding the Crimson Pride 23–11 in the second half, and shot 41.7% over the final 20 minutes to secure the 96–86 win.

The Cougars finished the game shooting 45.2% (33–73) from the field and 35.7% (10–28) from beyond the arc. RJ Moore led SF with 23 points and nine rebounds, while Jevon Lewis added 22 points. Karson Rogers recorded a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds, while also dishing out eight assists and collecting three steals. Marr Avance chipped in 14 points and six rebounds, while Eugene Young Jr. added 12 points.

Saint Francis men's basketball (4–8, 0–4 CL) will close out the 2025 calendar year with a home matchup against Indiana University Northwest on Tuesday, December 30, at 1:00 p.m.
