To start the first half, USF started with Brandon Northern, Joe Reidy, Zane Burke, Dan McKeeman, & Antwaan Cushingberry. Throughout the half, USF traded possessions with Marian and capitalized on the Knights turnovers to conclude the half trailing by 2-points. St. Francis shot 43% from the field and 42% from the foul line for their numbers. 

Key game changers for the Cougars included #22 Brayton Bailey who came off the bench and tallied 11 points and 2 assists. Antwaan Cushingberry led overall scoring for both sides with 23-points, chipping away at the USF all-scoring record for the Cougars. Joe Reidy along with Dan McKeeman also contributed 10 points each and had a combined 3 rebounds. 

Brayton Bailey and Brandon Northern also combined for 22 points and 6 assists in transitional play. USF's largest lead was by 7 points in the first half with 6:57 minutes remaining.

The Cougars are now 10-10 overall and 3-7 in conference. USF will return home on Saturday January 21st to take on No. 7-Ranked Indiana Wesleyan University. IWU is currently undefeated in Crossroads League play. Tip-off is set for 3pm at the Hutzell Athletic Center.
