Antwaan Cushingberry & David Ejah Earn First-Team as Conference Awards are Announced

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis athletics department is proud to announce that two Cougars, junior guard Antwaan Cushingberry and sophomore forward David Ejah from men's basketball, have been honored on the First-Team All-Crossroads League. 

Throughout the 2021-22 season, Cushingberry has propelled the Cougars to a 23-7 regular season record, and has also totaled 1,900 career points, placing him fourth on the all-time scoring list while scoring 687 points during the season. Not only did he make first-team, but also made the Crossroads League All-Defensive Team, where he had a team-leading 57 steals throughout the season and accumulated 169 rebounds. 

Behind Cush, David Ejah ignited the Cougars throughout the season with his stellar defense and offensive dominance. He was runner-up on the team in scoring this season with 627 points and a team-leading 287 rebounds. 

In addition to Cush and Ejah, junior guard Dan McKeeman was honored on the Second-Team All-Crossroads League, as he totaled 332 points with 16 steals, and led the team with 81 made three-pointers. 

The All-Crossroads League honors were voted on by the head men's basketball coaches from around the league and announced by the Crossroads League office.
