Offensive slump not enough to beat #4 IWU, 21-52

FORT WAYNE, IN – Your University of Saint Francis Cougars hosted highly ranked #3 Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats on Saturday afternoon. After many miscues, the Cougars could never get it going throughout the game. USF found themselves behind early and never got going losing 52-21.

After giving up a scoop and score on the offense's opening drive for the Cougars. This set the tone for the game as Grant Gremel threw for 11-33 on his passes and gave up 4 interceptions. Nothing came from the offense until the Cougars were down 21-0 where David Smith caught a pass from 8 yards out, hurdled a man, and into the endzone with 2:28 left in the second quarter. The game got away from the Cougars, ruining their chances of getting a comeback going and the rest was history.
