- After a scoreless four innings to start game one, the Cougars were aggressive on the basepaths, tallying multiple stolen bases, and capitalized on Huntington errors in the fifth inning to jump out to a 9-0 lead.
- The Foresters answered in the top of the sixth inning with six runs to cut SF's lead to three.
- The Saint Francis bullpen locked things down late, combining for 5.1 innings with just 1 earned run to seal the win.
- The Cougars had eight hits and eight walks in game one. Jack Belschner went 2-5 with two RBI and a stolen base. Ayden Lichtensteiger hit 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Cole Kintz had a double, while Kasen Oribello, Owen Zimmerman and Xavier Gonsalves all drove in a run for the Cougars. Jordan Davis scored two runs with three stolen bases.
- Perry Stow struck out five batters and gave up seven hits in 5.2 innings on the mound. Bryce Adams and Brock Bowser combined for seven strikeouts and two hits in relief.
- HU scored first in game two, driving in a run in the second and third innings for an early lead.
- Huntington used timely extra-base hits, including multiple doubles and home runs, to break the game open in the fourth inning, plating five runs to extend their lead to 7-0.
- The Foresters scored again in the fifth and sixth innings, bringing in eight more runs to push their lead to 15-0.
- The Cougars were unable to create opportunities at the plate, as Huntington won game two to split Thursday's doubleheader.
- Saint Francis was held to two hits with seven walks in game two. Kintz and Andrew Zellers each recorded a hit, while Zellers also had two stolen bases.
- Curtis Ellis got the start on the mound, striking out three batters and allowing four runs in 3.0 innings. Luke Siren, Andrew Onuegbu, Nathan Bardwell and Luke Wessell combined for five strikeouts in relief.
