The Cougars ended with an overall record of 27-28 in their 2021-22 Season and were 15-21 in Crossroads League play. The Cougars are returning a Crossroads League First-Team recipient to the roster for the 2022-23 Season. 

David Miller, a Graduate student from White Pigeon, Michigan, is retruning to the Cougar line-up. Miller is a designated hitter for the Cougars who played in 35 Crossroads League games last season and made 152 appearances at the plate. Miller's batting average last season was .328 and he also tallied 18 stolen bases. His slugging percentage was .549 and his on-base percentage was .434.

The Cougar DH also recorded 40 hits, 28 runs, 9 doubles, and 6 homeruns during Crossroads League play. Miller also had 34 runs batted in and was walked 16 times in the League. Overall stats for the Graduate student include 14 homeruns, .344 batting average, 64 RBIS, 46 runs, and 22 stolen bases.
