Kooy and Cross Named MFSA Midwest Players of the Year; 14 Cougars Earn All-Midwest League Honors

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) picked up 14 All-Midwest League selections, as the 2024 MSFA All-Midwest League Teams were announced on Monday, November 25. 

2025 MSFA All-Midwest League Team Announced

The duo of Marquise Cross from Saint Francis and Terry Elias, Jr. of Saint Xavier were tagged as Midwest League Co-Defensive Players of the Year, with Cross earning the honor for the second straight season. Cross disrupted opposing offenses to the tune of 46 tackles, four and a half sacks, and an MSFA-high three forced fumbles at defensive line for the Cougars.

Senior offensive lineman Bronson Kooy was selected by league coaches as the 2025 Midwest League Offensive Lineman of the Year. The senior from Westfield, Ind., led the Cougars' offense to averages of 34.7 points and 417.4 yards per game.
