USF Releases 2024 Football Schedule
FORT WAYNE, IND - The University of Saint Francis Cougars football team announces it's 2024 season schedule. The USF football program is a two-time NAIA national champion (2016, 2017) led by Coach Kevin Donley, who will enter his 27th season at USF this fall. Coach Donley ranks fifth on the all-time college coaches' win list (348 wins) and is the winningest active coach in college football and the all-time winningest coach in the NAIA. The Cougars finished last season with a 6-4 record, going 5-2 against Mideast League opponents.
USF is set to join the Midwest League within the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA). This realignment comes alongside Marian, as the two teams transition to the Midwest League. The conference welcomes the addition of Defiance College while bidding farewell to Roosevelt and St. Ambrose.
The season kicks off with an away game against Indiana Wesleyan on September 7th at 1:00 PM, setting the tone for a thrilling start to the season. The Cougars will then return home for a matchup against Defiance College on September 14th at 6:00 PM.
The excitement continues with back-to-back home games, as the Cougars face Siena Heights on September 21st at 1:00 PM and gear up for a special homecoming celebration against Madonna on September 28th at 1:00 PM.
As October unfolds, the team hits the road starting with Taylor (IN) on October 5th at 1:00 PM. The Cougars then return home to face Lawrence Tech on October 12th at 1:00 PM.
The away journey resumes with matchups against Judson (IL) on October 19th at 1:00PM CDT (2:00 PM EST) and Marian University on October 26th at 1:00 PM. November brings a series of home games, including St. Francis (IL) on November 2nd at 1:00 PM, Saint Xavier (IL) on November 9th at 1:00 PM, and to close the season an away matchup with Olivet Nazarene (IL) on November 16th at 1:00PM CST (2:00 PM EST).
