Four Softball Student-Athletes Named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday, May 22. The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) had four student-athletes receive the national honor.

2024 Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes

The 2024 list features 1,250 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.

Ashley Childress, Brooklyn McCord, Madyson Minnich, and Taylor Horsley all earned Scholar-Athlete honors for USF softball this season.
