   FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Though it took time, the University of Saint Francis won its sixth home game of the year and 10th overall victory, the 13th consecutive season the Lady Cougars have won at least 10 games with a 3-0 win over Grace College on Tuesday afternoon at Coonan Field.
   Melissa Ellisen put theh 5s for Werst Lady Cougars in front early with her ninth goal of the season just 2:55 into the match. Ellisen also took the USF goal scoring lead -- for awhile.
   Though down early, the Lancers continued a spirited attack throughout the first 45 minutes, but the Lady Cougars (10-3-1) withstood every GC threat to hold a 1-0 halftime lead.
 hi kick Grace  Alissa Werst gave the Lady Cougars an insurance goal finally at 61:16 when she beautifully nodded home a serve to the far post by Jess Taghon. Then Mary Whisler forged a two-way tie for the USF goals-scored lead when she headed in a corner kick from Rachel Schenk at 85:27.
   USF won its third straight match to improve to 3-1 in Mid-Central College Conference play. The Lady Cougars have won seven of their last eight matches heading into a game at Indiana Schon head air ball Wesleyan University in Marion on Friday night at 7 p.m. The shutout win went to keeper Kari Baughn, who had three saves, and gave USF five shutouts in six games at Coonan Field this season. It was Baughn's third shutout.
