Kendallville, IN -- The University of Saint Francis women's golf team finished in third place on Tuesday at the USF Cougar Spring Invitational at Noble Hawk Golf Links and Cobblestone Golf Course.  Junior Katie Jones paced the Cougars by finishing tied for 5th place.

Jones shot a 84 in the first 18 holes on Monday and improved to shoot a 81 on the final 18.  Sophomore Amber Black carded a 169 overall to finish in 10th place.

Senior Hilary Bowman and Junior Brittney Kyler shot 174 finish in a tie for 12th place, while senior Lindsey Eaton recorded a 176 to place 14th overall.

Bethel College's Jessica Layman claimed the individual title after firing 160.  Bethel College took home the team crown after shooting a combined 650 in the 36-hole tournament.

The Cougars will return to the links on April 16 at the Bethel College Invitational at Blackthorn Golf Club in South Bend, IN.
