Katie Jones, Lindsey Eaton, and Randi Shellman pictured above all were top ten
finishers at the KWC Fall Classic.
The University of Saint Francis women's golf team came back from a 14 shot deficit after day one to claim its second straight tournament championship. USF defeated NCAA D-2 Missouri-St. Louis by way of the fifth player score due to both teams being tied at 666. The 13 team field was the largest tournament the Lady Cougars have won in the history of the program.
Leading the way for the Cougars was sophomore Katie Jones who had an outstanding day two, finishing the tournament in a tie for 5th place at 87-78-165. Lindsey Eaton also finished tied for 5th carding 84-81-165. Rounding out the top ten was senior Randi Shellman with 85-83-168.
USF is back on the course September 12 & 13 at the Olivet College Invitational in Marshall, MI.
