Cougars take second in season opener
The University of Saint Francis women's golf team took the course for the first time this spring at the Trine University Invitational. USF struggled during day one play with the 20 mph winds and cold weather, shooting a season-high 359. USF bounced back on day two, shaving 19 shots off their day one score with a 340. The Cougars were lead by three top ten finishers: Katie Jones (87-84=171); Hilary Bowman (89-83=172); and making her debut for USF, Brittney Kyler (89-85=174). USF will play at Cobblestone and Noble Hawk, hosting the USF Cougar Invitational on April 8th and 9th.
