PONETO, Ind. - Southern Wells High School senior Meghan Prible will continue her student-athlete pursuit at the collegiate level at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Ind., starting in the fall of the 2009-10 school year.
Prible, a 5-foot-7 guard/forward, is the daughter of Karen and Jeff Prible. She is a 3-time All-ACAC Team basketball selection who finished No. 2 on the Raiders career scoring list. She was named to the 2009 Indiana Team that played Ohio in the Nancy Rehm Border Wars Classic presented by The Journal Gazette.
"Meghan is a very versatile player who can play multiple positions," USF coach Gary Andrews said after Meghan signed with the Lady Cougars.
"She plays great defense, she can
score, rebound and she is a very good passer. I feel that Meghan will have a good career here at USF and we are very glad to get her. She comes from a very good program and she has been taught fundamentally very well."
