  UPLAND, Ind.  - University of Saint Francis senior Jamika Banks has been named Mid-Central College Conference Player of the Week after she continued to create double trouble for Lady Cougars' opposition last week.

   Banks (Fort Wayne, IN / Northrop H.S.) extended her streak of double-doubles with two last week in two wins for the Lady Cougars. The 5-foot-10 forward delivered a dominant effort scoring 24 points and grabbing 16 rebounds against Spring Arbor, then produced her sixth straight double-double against 32nd-ranked Marian College in the FIRST HALF with 10 points and 13 rebounds. She finished with 17 points and 16 rebounds against MC.

   Against SAU, she scored eight points in the final 6:30 of the first half leading USF on a 14-5 finish to the first half. She scored the go-ahead points against MC and USF never trailed again. Her six consecutive double-doubles is a USF record and may be an MCC record for consecutive double doubles as well.  She has taken the MCC lead with 11 double doubles.  She is averaging 13.8 rebounds and points in the last six games.  She is averaging 9.8 ppg and 10.0 rpg.

   Banks has scored in double figures in 15 games and has recorded double figure rebounds in 14 games.
