MARION, Ind. -- University of Saint Francis junior Nick Adams 
threw a best of 52.99 meters (173 feet, 10 inches, but finished 13th out of 35 entries in the men's hammer throw at the NAIA Outdoor Championships on Thursday on opening day.
USF sophomore Sean Baines produced a best of 46.95 (154 feet), in his first NAIA Championship and finished 32nd.
