2008 USF Tennis Outlook

The University of Saint Francis Tennis team is eager to begin the new 2008 season.  This year the team will be on the road with 9 away matches and 5 home matches.  Coach Harrow is looking forward to helping her two captains, Renee Shetterly, No.1 singles and No. 1 doubles in 2007, and Nicole Cress, No.3 doubles in 2007, lead the team to a successful season.

The Lady Cougars have 4 returning seniors:  Andrea Yoder, Andrea Christlieb, Cortney Shepard, Nicole Cress, and sophomore Renee Shetterly.  They will be joined by four new team members:  Mallory Brooks, Julianne Haines, Brittany Witte, and Lauren Mey.  Harrow expects to have some tough challenge matches for varsity spots.  "With the continuing improvement of the returning players and the new incoming players, I'm excited about our upcoming season," said Harrow.

The Lady Cougars will again compete at Wildwood Racquet Club.  "We're very fortunate to have a high quality tennis center at Wildwood Racquet Club so close to USF," Harrow said. "We are thankful for the generous support, not only during the fall season, but in the spring as well."
