  University of Saint Francis senior Amber Ludwig has been selected Mid-Central College Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 20-25.

   Ludwig (Fort Wayne, IN / Homestead H.S.) improved to 11-10 with three wins last week included two wins on Saturday over Grace clinching a berth in the MCC Tournament for USF. In 19 innings pitched, Ludwig only gave up 12 hits, two runs, one earned run and struck out 12. She is 6-1 in her last seven decisions and has 35 strikeouts over that stretch of games.

   Ludwig is the first USF pitcher to earn the weekly conference honor since Sara Kocher did it in Week 7 of the 2004 season.
